    The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing and leading all purchasing functions for The Grand Ho Tram Strip property. Through dynamic and engaging leadership this position directs and coordinates activities of employees engaged in purchasing and distributing raw materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies in organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices and procedures, as well as within the framework and intent of the Vision of The Grand Ho Tram Strip property.
    - Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
    - Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices.
    - Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and prepares market analysis reports.
    - Ensures and selects cost effective materials and fixtures for The Grand Ho Tram Strip property.
    - Ensures premium quality and determines optimum quantity of goods, FFE, or other related goods.
    - Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
    - Develops and installs clerical and office procedures and practices, and studies work flow, sequence of operations, and office arrangement to determine expediency of installing new or improved office machines.
    - Arranges for disposal of surplus materials.
    - Creates and implements procedures and standards for the purchasing department.
    - Engaging leadership that inspires and empowers the Purchasing staff.
    - Provides strategic direction for the department and proactively conveys guidelines for staff that shapes the unparalleled standards expected. 
    - Make certain that areas of accountability are executed in uncompromised levels. Proper utilization of resources is a must. 
    - Produce and/or assists in the preparation of annual budgets and operation forecasts; produces regular and special reports; maintains required records and files. 
    - Ensures all activities performed within the department are in accordance with the company’s business objectives, and established safety and security standards. 
    - Maintains harmony among employees and resolves grievances.
    - Keeps leadership informed on a timely basis of any undue variance from expected results.
    - Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.

  • Yêu cầu công việc

    - Bachelor degree is required.
    - At least five-years experience as a Director of Purchasing.
    - Ability to read and analyze: Business periodicals and technical procedures and local regulations. 
    - Proven track record of leading the purchasing function within a hotel or a similar industry.
    - Experience in high volume purchasing activities.
    - Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally. Fluent in English is encouraged.
    - Superior diplomatic and communication skills, both oral and written.
    - Microsoft Office knowledge required.
    - Very well organized, computer literate, and detail-oriented.
    - Ability to apply concepts of whole numbers, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
    - Must present a well-groomed appearance.
